Better Source Images, Better 3D Results

Image-to-3D generation starts with the information contained in the source image. Improving that source can make the entire workflow more predictable.

Use enough light to clearly separate the object from its surroundings. Extremely dark areas can hide shape information that the generation system needs.

A simple background can make the object's edges easier to identify. Avoid backgrounds that closely match the object's color.

Try to include the entire object in the frame and avoid unnecessary cropping.

Finally, remember that image-to-3D systems infer information that is not directly visible. The more useful visual information the source image contains, the stronger the starting point can be.
